BTRC launches new unlimited data packages - Techbd720
Bangladesh Telecommunication Authority (BTRC) has launched unlimited internet packages in Bangladesh. Every telecom operator in Bangladesh has been notified to launch unlimited internet data for its customers.
For the first time, Teletalk has introduced unlimited data packages for its customers. Teletalk SIM has two unlimited data packages, which have been launched since last March.
Currently all other telecom operators have also introduced unlimited data packages. In the beginning, let us inform you that only the unlimited data package provided by Teletalk will be truly unlimited.
What is unlimited internet package?
Other telecom operators operating in Bangladesh, i.e. Grameenphone, Robi and Banglalink, Airtel refers to their unlimited term as 1 year.
That is, some of their unlimited data packages will be valid for 1 year or 365 days. They call them unexpired.
The reason is that what the telecom operators are saying is that the validity of the internet packs provided by Sadhtarantelecom companies is from a few days to a few weeks, 15 days or a month.
As the providers are now offering these new internet packs for a much longer period than the earlier offers, they call it unlimited period.
Considering the current context and reality, Bangladesh Telecommunication Authority has taken a step that is good enough for customers for one year.
By purchasing an internet data pack with 1 year validity you never have to worry about the expiry.
Although many customers do not agree to call this 1 year period "unlimited", it is not difficult to call it unlimited from a user's point of view, because 1 year or 365 days is a long time.
If an internet user buys a net package for 1 year and uses it for 1 year, he can certainly exhaust the entire internet balance purchased. However, we are not going to debate it, but the internet pack price may cause inconvenience to the customers in this case.

How to buy unlimited data package
Under the unlimited package, Grameenphone is offering 40GB data at Tk1,199 and 15GB data at Tk549 while Teletalk 26GB at Tk309 and 6GB at Tk127, said a press release.
Other operators will also introduce new unlimited data packages in phases, it added.
